A bit about me...
I've known I wanted to be an arts journalist since I was in middle school. Fascinated by how movies and television shows were made I would spend hours watching press junkets on YouTube, and I religiously watched CBS Sunday Morning and Late Night to learn all about the newest releases and the people who made them. Knowing this, I quickly decided journalism was for me. I currently am living out that dream working at CinemaBlend, and spent the early years of my career writing about local arts and culture in Spokane, Washington, Syracuse, New York and Charleston, South Carolina. I'm inspired by artists' stories, and nothing brings me more joy than creating a multimedia package highlighting their talents. Through my work all over the country and my education at the Newhouse School at Syracuse University and Gonzaga University, I have been able to effectively cover the arts, and I can't wait to keep doing it.
